Fior: The Only U.S. Veteran-Owned and Black-Owned Scotch on the Market

As we step into Black History Month, it’s the perfect time to celebrate stories of resilience, ambition, and excellence. Rooted right here in Miami is a remarkable tale that combines passion, service, and community: the story of Retired Marine Major Eric Dominijanni, the visionary behind Fior Scotch.  Not only is Fior the only U.S. veteran-owned Scotch, but it also holds the distinction of being the sole Black-owned Scotch on the market.

Major Dominijanni’s journey is as impactful as the spirit he has crafted. With a distinguished 20-year military career, he proudly served his country through three tours in Iraq and two in Okinawa. His time in the Marines instilled in him a profound sense of duty, coupled with an appreciation for the camaraderie and experiences that shape our lives.

The inspiration for Fior Scotch began as a personal exploration—a heartfelt project that evolved from Major Dominijanni’s cherished collection of scotches. He began decanting the remaining drams of particularly good scotches into what he affectionately named his “Infinity Bottle.” As he experimented and perfected this blend, it became so delightful that he realized he had stumbled upon something special. With a dream in mind, he enlisted the help of industry experts to bring his creation to life.

Thus, Fior Scotch was born, embodying a clean and balanced flavor profile that has captivated spirits enthusiasts and critics alike. Since its inception in 2023, Fior has garnered impressive accolades, including double gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the New York World Spirits Competition, alongside a remarkable 93 rating at The New York International Spirits Competition. These achievements not only reflect the quality of the Scotch but also signify Major Dominijanni’s dedication to excellence.

Proudly rooted in Miami, Major Dominijanni infuses his community spirit into every bottle of Fior Scotch. The vibrancy and resilience of this city are mirrored in his product and ambitions. He believes that Fior represents not just a fine spirit but a celebration of the diverse narratives within our communities—stories that deserve recognition and honor.

Fior isn’t just about exceptional flavor; it carries a deeper purpose. As a proud veteran, Major Dominijanni is committed to supporting fellow servicemen and women. With every bottle purchased, a portion of the proceeds goes directly to the ‘Wounded Warrior Project’, providing crucial support to veterans and their families. Major Dominijanni’s work highlights how we can combine passion with purpose, creating a positive impact in the lives of others.

This Black History Month, let’s raise a glass to Major Eric Dominijanni and Fior Scotch. His journey is a testament to how dreams can flourish through determination and creativity. As you savor the rich flavors of Fior, remember that every sip supports a greater cause—the well-being of those who have bravely served our nation.

Join us in celebrating this unique story, and consider supporting Fior Scotch as a way to honor not just the craft of distilling but the spirit of resilience and community that defines us all. Cheers to that!
