Washington, D.C. – Today, The Atlantic Festival has unveiled an impressive lineup of speakers for its 15th annual event, which will be held on Thursday, September 28, and Friday, September 29, at The Wharf in Washington, D.C. Among the notable figures set to appear is former Secretary of State and United States Senator, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Clinton will engage in a compelling conversation with The Atlantic’s editor in chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, as they discuss existential threats to democracy. This timely topic will explore the challenges facing democratic systems worldwide. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will also participate in separate interviews conducted by Goldberg.
In addition to Clinton, other influential speakers include Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra, who will be interviewed by senior editor Vann R. Newkirk II.
